"I went initially for a full hearing assessment after a recommendation from a friend. It became apparent hearing aids would help with my mild/moderate loss of hearing. Even though it occurred to me to get NHS aids, after Jeff talked me through every option, I decided to accept a trial period (no pressure) and within hours I was so impressed resulting in me collecting my own aids! Jeff and his wife are so thorough and patient, explaining everything in detail and not patronising in the least. I have since been back for retuning as necessary and never had to wait longer than a couple of days for my appt. "I had recently developed Tinitus only in one ear , causing me a lot of distress and quite frankly I was scared and upset , I searched the Internet and waited for an NHS appointment, where the GP ticked boxes for a referral in the far distance future ! I wanted advise , tools that I could use.
I found The Ear Care Specialist , made an appointment with Dr Jeff Davies , the 90 minute appointment was everything I had been looking for and wished for. Jeff explained everything so thoroughly and listened to my tale , asking questions that might help us find the best treatment or tool. He did all the ear tests that might point or eliminate reasons for my Tinnitus, he used a model of the workings of an ear and pictures which helped me understand what was happening to me.
He then told me things I could do or use , all this was recorded and shortly after I left I received a lengthy email of everything we had talked about and helpful links , I knew I could ask any questions and I left feeling much more positive and not so anxious about dealing with my Tinitus. Highly recommend an appointment with Jeff"

"I have been treated by Jeff many times over the last few years. He is an outstanding practitioner. He always has time to listen and put you at ease. I took my daughter today who struggles with sensitive hearing and autism. His calm and methodical approached really helped her to cope with the anxiety she felt from a first treatment.
