We offer custom made ear plugs for a wide range of applications including live music, noisy factories, motorsport, shooting, sleeping and swimming. Prices start from £150, this includes taking the shape of your ears. Your ears need to be clear of wax and healthy for the impression taking process. We can remove any ear wax as part of your appointment for an additional [discounted] price of £50.

Filtered ear plugs are great for gigs, live music, work and motorsports.
Soft silicone ear plugs are ideal for swimming and sleeping.
Filtered ear plugs can reduce the intensity (dB) of sound arriving in your ears. Filter strengths tend to range from 10 up to ~30 dB of attenuation. This can help prevent damage to your auditory system and enable you to remain in noise for longer. Swim plugs help to keep the ears dry. This is especially desirable for those who are prone to ear infections or have perforated ear drums. Sleep plugs are soft and less bulky by design, ensuring you get a good night's sleep whilst blocking out unwanted sounds z z Z Z Z. Shooting / hunting ear plugs contain patented impulse filters which shield against harmful peak blasts from gun fire. All custom products are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please allow ~ 2-3 weeks for production. ​We do not offer a stand alone ear impression taking service.

Why should I go for custom ear plugs over universal?
They fit your ear snuggly, preventing any sound leakage (in or out). This ensures all sounds pass through the filter and deliver safer levels of sound. Universal ear plugs will provide an average value of attenuation based on group averaged data. There is no guarantee that the universal ear plugs will fit your ears correctly.
What is the production time?
Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for production. If you are going on holiday next week and want swim plugs making, they aren't going to arrive in time! We cannot speed up the process.
What if I have ear wax in my ears?
To take the shape of your ears we must ensure that your ear canals are clear and healthy. We charge an additional £50 to remove ear wax. Please keep this in mind.

Many online companies require you to provide impressions, which means you need to locate an audiologist and pay for the impression service before submitting them to the company. Our pricing covers the consultation, the process of taking your ear impressions, and the ear plugs. Additionally, we offer a complimentary 15-minute collection appointment to ensure a proper fit and provide on usage and insertion.
I have had surgery on my ears, can I still come to you for custom ear plugs?
If you have ear perforations, exostoses, chronic ear infections, or undergone any ear surgeries (such as tympanoplasty, middle ear surgery, or mastoid surgery), we highly advise that you consult the NHS for ear plugs and follow the guidance of your ENT surgeon.
Can I bring my child for custom swim plugs?
We do not offer this service for children. We recommend going to the NHS children's hearing assessment centre at Ropewalk House for custom swim plugs.
